Daisy Shah, who shot to fame with her debut movie Jai Ho with none other than Salman Khan, is back again with her next movie Hate Story 3 along with Sharman Joshi, Karan Singh Grover and Zareen Khan while the movie is directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood and TV Reporter, Daisy spoke about her journey in Bollywood and also more about this movie.

Tell us about your character in the film?

I play the role of Kaaya, who is very dedicated and focused towards her career. She follows a mantra that if a deal is good for her company then she can go to any limits, whether on the cost of her money, life or body, she will do anything for her company.

How challenging has been your journey from Jai Ho to Hate Story 3?

Some people get it easily and some people belong to the labour class, I fit into it as my life has been very challenging. Jai Ho had box office collection of Rs. 126 crores still I was blamed for the blunder of Jai Ho but I am happy that the makers know that it wasn't my mistake. We tried to do something different but only we suffered in this. I have not given up and I am working hard towards my goal.

How did you find Vishal as a director?

He is super fun to work with, because we all belong to same age group so it was never like 'sir aa gaye, sir aa gaye.' It was a family and friendly atmosphere so had lots of fun on the sets.

How was it working with other star casts?

I have worked with Sharman earlier when I was assisting choreographer Ganesh Acharya so there was bit hesitancy as he is such a senior actor and is very serious person in real life so didn't know how much to talk or not but he is very helpful and friendly, got to know him more through this film. Karan is a monkey, he can't keep quiet, can't sit at one place but is a very kind hearted person while I don't have any scene with Zareen, but she is a fabulous person and actor.

What preparations did you do for this movie?

I had to work hard on my body as the role required a bikini body so a lot of break-up with food and had a tough work out. Initially I was hesitant with intimate scenes during the shooting of the song but Karan was very supportive and it went smoothly.
